Artful Living Celebrates 11 Years of Community Theater

Artful Living presents THE MUSIC MAN: July 28-30 –The feel-good musical for the summer!

This classic American musical takes us on a toe-tapping adventure with fast-talking salesman Professor Harold Hill, who convinces the townspeople of River City, Iowa that they need a band, instruments and uniforms. His plans to skip town with their money comes to a crashing halt when he falls in love and has to face the music.

There's William Howard Taft was President, Sears, Roebuck & Co. mail order was at its peak, WWI had not happened yet and Fenway Park was brand-spanking new in 1912. And while much is different today, the inspiring truth that each person can change for the better is as real and enduring as the American spirit for children's marching bands, town 'sociables' and apple pie!

Eulalie reminds us all – Tempus Fugit – and that's a good enough reason as any to hug tight those you care about, swing open your doors to hospitality and hop up on a table to dance the Shipoopi!

With unforgettable songs such as "Till There Was You," and "Seventy-six Trombones," this Tony Award®-winning sensation is a treat for the entire family.
